Step One
Upload Your Photos
On your Houzz profile, upload high-resolution photos of your project with as much description as possible. Location, size, style and budget are good places to start. Is it a new build or remodel? Do you have “before” photos? The more info the better!
STEP TWO
Email Your Project
When you’re ready, send your project link with a short description to editor@houzz.com. Be sure to specify the project type in the subject line: kitchen remodel, whole-house renovation–whatever best describes your work in a few words.
Step Three
Sit Back & Relax
For your final step, all you need to do is wait. Our editorial team carefully reviews every submission that hits their inbox and will reach back out if they decide to feature your work in a future story.
Which Submissions Catch Our Eye?
Shiny & New
When it comes to completion date, newer projects are preferred. Try to limit your submissions to jobs wrapped up within the past year.
Well-Designed Spaces
We look for rooms, homes and landscapes that address the needs of homeowners in smart ways. We showcase kitchens, bathrooms, and indoor and outdoor living spaces in a variety of sizes and styles.
Inviting Rooms
People like to see thoughtfully styled homes they can imagine themselves living in. Include furnishings, artwork and accessories that complement the space.
Before & Afters
Seeing a finished space is great. Seeing what it was before is even better. Don’t be shy about showing off the full range of your renovation!
Quality Photos
Keep your shots clear, well-lit and at least 2,400 pixels wide. Extra points if you hire a pro to help capture every angle at its best.
Budget Details
Not all project costs are obvious. Giving homeowners a ballpark budget can help them decide if they’re ready for something similar.
