If it gets hot in the summer where you live, you might want to go with a light colored roof. Dark roofs in blazing sun will cook you inside your house.

To me that house screams Dark Bronze (and I do not vote).

If you are relying on votes from strangers, it does not matter what color you go with.

A prudent way of determining a proper roof color would be to obtain the largest samples of the colors you are considering and place them in the position they will be in and visualize the results. Ask for local assistance if you have to.

I like the darker as well. What's wrong with the concrete tile?

The concrete tile weighs 10 lbs. per square foot and doesn’t shed snow. We had up to 8-feet accumulate last year, which was expensive and dangerous to have removed. It caused damage inside and outside of our house.

Seek local advice. Your roof may still retain snow with a metal roof; and it may shed some snow where you do not want it. The entire roof needs to be evaluated, not just what is in one picture.

I think this is an opportunity to evaluate the trim/siding and garage/entrance door colors. I'd think about removing the metal siding accent from the garage, etc. You wouldn't use that when you roof is metal. It'll be easier to choose a roof color.

Concrete roofing tiles in snow country is crazy.
