The large sample closest to the door looks good. May I ask why an engineered hardwood is off the table?

I live in Virginia w/very humid summers but I just read last night that it’s usually what’s used over crawl space here so I suppose it’s not!

I live in savannah ga with a house that’s partially slab partially crawlspace with 3000 sq ft of engineered hardwood.

I have engineered wood floors on a slab in FL and I'm not too far from the intracoastal/gulf ... you can't be more humid than that!

What is the wood in the living room? Is it real wood? Reconsider your vinyl decision and coordinate engineered wood with the living room wood floor (Is it engineered wood.) Since you can't match it exactly, the way you coordinate is to pick a slightly varieted pattern with some slats that harmonize with the existing floor then go lighter on the others.
