Design Dilemma

Hello! I need help figuring out how to decorate the open concept dining room in this space. The furniture is not ours. These are photos from the listing. The light fixtures will be updated. My issue is the off center dining chandelier in contrast to the arched alcove. I had imagined balancing it out with art on both sides and a buffet below. Now I think that may look strange since the dining table will have to be off to the side. Please help! What should we do with the dining room and wall?

It might be a good idea to just ignore the arches. Place artwork on either side of the arches and perhaps a console, or buffet, under one of the pieces of art.

Unless you just love the arched niche I would drywall over it to get a flat wall. Otherwise just ignore the off-center like it is now.

Soooo many arches. Would it be helpful to drywall over that big one? While you're doing that sheetrock work you can have the lighting moved exactly to where you want it.

It is an opening to the stairway. Just moved in and needing to fully furnish.

Are you able to have the the off center dining chandelier moved to be centered? What about building shelves in that huge arch to store dishes or doo dads for display?

We definitely agree with updating the lighting. It should be fine to do artwork on both side of the arch with a buffet below one of the pieces.
