my contractor is suggesting putting the list coat on our white oak and

contractor is suggesting ist coat of Absco grand satin finish and then 2 coats of Bona traffic hd. we have white oak floors with duraseal rustic beige stain

is it ok to mix proucts of 2 different companies? will they be compatible? thanks for immediate advice as we r in themiddle of the project already.

I would not. Call Bona and ask if they recommend this or will warrant their product? Call Absco and ask them the same.

Is it ok? Meaning will something horrid happen when these two mix? It will be fine. Your contractor would know. Will either company stand by a warranty if you don't follow their directions to the letter? NO. No one would have anyway of proving which product failed. What your contractor knows is these warranties are meaningless.
