My husband and I gutted our guest bath. No decor yet, but wanted to post results. :)

Lovely, it looks so fresh and bright! (I would put the toilet paper holder on the other wall from where it used to be so you don't see it from the doorway) The wall by the shower would be a good place for a towel bar so you have access from the shower.

    Thank you!

Jamie Ludwig - I agree; we placed the toilet paper holder on the other side so that it wasn't visible. We also placed a chrome towel hook on the back of the door. Just gotta change the door handle. :)

Phenomenal job! It's very and clean and contemporary. The only thing I would consider adding is a small backsplash behind the sink to protect the drywall from dripping water. You could even take it all the way up to the ceiling (budget permitting) for a dramatic accent.

@threegraces Thank you! We purchased the tub and surround from our local Lowes Home Improvement store. Our master bath, we gutted also, but used tile on the floor, in the shower and made it feel spa like. Our guest bath, we didn't want to go through all of that again since we had to rip everything out of this bath to the studs, that we just wanted something simple. I will see if they have a link for the tub.

@StephanieSalinas No, I don't mind at all. Our budget was $1,800 but ended up spending between $2,000-$2,200 but we took the walls and floors down to the studs because we wanted to update the galvanized pipes. We replaced the floor, the toilet, the tub/surround, baseboards, mirror, vanity, and lighting. The vanity we found on clearance. We went with a recessed medicine cabinet since there was one in the bathroom previously and we also wanted clean lines. It took us 3 weeks and that is because we both work full time jobs. ;)

@Tracy We purchased the paint from Lowe's. They carry Sherwin Williams and it's called Crisp Blue. The number on the sample was HGSW3327. We chose this because there are very thin, blue-ish gray pinstripes in our tile that you can't really see in these photos.

FYI - A color that looks GORGEOUS in any room is Benjamin Moore's Healing Aloe. If my husband would let me, I would paint my whole house in it. Lol It's a beautiful neutral color between green and gray. Very "soft" and calming color in a room. It's currently in my LR and hallway and everyone that walks into my house, always comments on the color.

I have to brag on my hubby regarding this tile work.... LOOK at those precision cuts below!

A different view of the vanity. It looks darker here. It's more of a grayish brown coloring.

Closer pic of the Tile. We mixed white and light gray for the grout.

This was our 2nd bath remodel together AND we still love each other. :)
