Home Gym - Modern & Massive!

This home gym is from one of my favourite design projects to date! In June of 2014, Bryan Baeumlers Construction Company (Baeumler Quality Construction) asked me to meet with clients to discuss an upcoming 3000 square foot basement renovation. I was completely thrilled & ecstatic for such an amazing opportunity which turned into my largest design project to date! (see links at end of this article to view the entire space)

The Home Gym - Bright, Colourful & Energizing. I want to share with you the before pictures, the design process and how we overcame one of the biggest challenges in this space.

The 400 square foot gym is the first room you see as you come down the stairs. For this reason, I wanted it to set the tone for what was to come for the rest of this contemporary & fun space. Below is a photo of the renovation in progress.

Here is the original concept drawing I created for this modern gym. Glass doors & walls keep the space airy and bright. (3D drawings done in Chief Architect program)

These are the carpet tiles that I selected with my clients. We used gray for the middle of the gym and the colourful carpet tiles were used around the border of the room to add colour & interest to the space.

In my drawings the ceiling was shown painted 'Chartreuse' by Benjamin Moore and my clients loved that idea, so that's what we did! (carpet tiles tied in with this colour)

A huge challenge in this design was coming up with a creative yet functional way to cover up the 12 foot electrical panel that is also in this space. After exploring various options, the Baeumler Project Manager came up with the idea of using a stainless steel awning - like one you would see for a motorhome or RV.

The small niche was the perfect place to incorporate some storage for towels and other accessories for the gym.

Wow that crazy. But I don't see how this is so "modern" . The colors remind me of the 70's. Anyway its looks cool. Id want a gym like that.

I can honestly say that this is the most beautiful home gym I've seen in my life. There is everything you need here, barbells, dumbbells. Still, I also like that the interior design is very unusual, and sports in such a gym should be very comfortable and atmospheric.

I can honestly say that this is the most beautiful home gym I've seen in my life. There is everything you need here, barbells, dumbbells. Still, I also like that the interior design is unusual, and sports in such a gym should be very comfortable and atmospheric. This is very important for an athlete (well, at least for me, for sure). This project inspires me to start saving money for my home gym. What I like about a public gym, though, is that you can learn something useful from someone about exercise or supplements. For example, I've never heard of sarms before, but my friend Sam knows all about them and explained how they work.

I have to say that the mirrors and lighting are absolutely amazing. I'm curious though in regards to the need of floormats and if that would effect the design. I have my own home gym in the garage but my mirror is miniscule compared to this! What really pops out in my gym is the decals I got though. They really make it look like a gym. I think it would go well on the top where there are empty space. Found them on Amazon for fairly cheap too!

My Vinyl Story, you could add mats in the cubby area. Mats that can be used as needed and easily accessed, then put away once done. And thank you!

In this thread we discuss wrestling and casinos. interesting. i used to not much into wrestling, but when i tried to make a couple of bets on the recommendations of my friend, he is a crazy wrestling fan. i loved wrestling, but still he advises me what bet is better to do, says that all bought in the sport and where does he take information that bet for sure passed. I do it on the online platform https://1houseofpokies.com/payment. It is certainly not as in the title double or nothing. Here, if you do it right, you will never be in deficit. can be combined with other games such as blackjack or poker, one of my favorite games.
