I don't know if any body from this post found a solution but I found another post with a similar problem and the solution was an Adjustable Ceiling Bracket.

How did this work out? These products are discontinued and I'm wondering if there is another option out there. My plumbing supplier is not aware of anything.

The Signature Hardware support isn't going to work, there is no place for the water to come out of....That piece is to support a shower rod at an angle.

We just faced this with a rain head in a sloped ceiling. They had a rain head in this shower previously, the last installer just left a gap on the uphill side. My solution was going to be to remove a little of the drywall on the ‘downhill’ side to recess that part of the trim ring, then caulk the uphill side. As it turns out, the hole in the escutcheon was larger than the pipe diameter just enough to let it angle and sit flush to the ceiling. If I ever had to do it again I would just enlarge the hole (or ream it out so the hole was oval)

Any solutions? Our plumbers are acting like we are the only people to ever have a sloped ceiling with a rain shower.

Unfortunately we are already plumbed and tiled and are looking for a solution after the fact that doesn’t involve tearing everything out and starting over. “Sure, we can do that” has turned into “we can’t do that.”

You just need to get someone with a drill press to re drill the hole in the escutcheon at an angle- it will look oval.

A well stocked contractor or hobbyist would have that. A high school wood shop. That guy in the neighborhood who makes bowls from fallen trees. I would just ask around to your neighbors and the team working on your bath, someone ‘knows a guy’

Yes have the escutcheon drilled to be oval.

I ended up using a ceiling box cover plate from Home Depot. They didn’t have the 4” in stock at the store or available online so I settled for the 6” - https://www.homedepot.com/p/309116689.

While it is larger than I would like, it’s better than any other solution I could do myself.I used a 1” paddle but to drill out the center, lightly sanded the surface and used brushed nickel spray paint in a can. I used very small specks of caulking on the back to adhere it to the ceiling.

The paint from the spray can does not match the shower arm, but it looks acceptable from all sides. Not sure how others will receive this, but wanted to share in case anyone is looking for a simple and easy solution.

Really?? All you have to do is bend the shower arm. You need a piece of solid wood. A few nails driven in around your bending angle and 6 3/8 x1” copper pipe or couplings. Look up DIY mandrel pipe bending.

Our bathroom is in a peaked gable, and for the shower head to be high enough to be above our heads it must be at the ceiling peak. The contractor says we should run the pipe on the interior side of the ceiling to limit condensation in the insulation. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing? I haven't found any pictures.
